What did it cost in water?

Water hides. It hides in your t-shirt, in your breakfast, in the phone in your pocket. Almost none of it is the water you can see, and that is what makes it interesting.

So the posts here go looking for it, in a few different ways. Some pick up one everyday thing and ask a simple question: how much water did it take to make this? Some take a strange word that the water industry uses all day long and turn it into normal language. Some test the things everyone says about water, to find out which ones are actually true. Some travel to places that nearly ran dry, and ask how they got out of it. And some look at whole industries, the factories behind your clothes, your food, your paper.
